The Fight for the Throne pt. II
‘The battle of East Cheswick’
The Tale of Praul Huntswell pt. II
Day 2 midnight (relative to the days of part I)
Praul moved swift as a shadow through the trees tracking the goblins in the vast darkness. Keeping well out of earshot in case he made the slightest noise, jumping over logs, dodging low branches. He tracked them for two hours, until he reached a large clearing and saw something that made his heart stop. Goblin camps as far the eye can see, each emitting flames from fires and blacksmith, he looked at the sky and saw the moon, almost full and beautiful sending light upon the distant sea, for he had reached the shores of the land. He wondered what so many goblins were doing so far west, they had no control of these lands, at least they didn’t now, Praul had to leave to get to Ravenswood and warn the sovereign of this impending goblin attack. He was about to move when he noticed the goblins he had been tracking standing at the edge of the camp. Talking to what seem to be an important goblin chief or something, he noticed them pointing east, and making gestures and re-enactments with their weapons. They kept pointing east, however, when they did the chief looked up and noticed Praul, he then let out a cry and signalled for some goblins to come up.
If ever was the time to leave, it was now Praul bolted as fast as he could almost running into several trees, he could hear the goblins giving pursuit, chasing him like a riot. Then Praul tripped, he fell flat on his stomach and was immediately winded, he tried to draw breath but it was impossible, his lungs were not working, he got up anyway staggering at first then running again as his lungs began working again, even though he was running faster then ever, he could still hear the goblins cries for blood. Praul chanced a glance behind him, although he could see nothing, the goblins could evidently see him. As Praul turned an arrow went straight past his head. From the sounds of the goblins he guessed that there was probably at least 20 of them. On he ran for another hours growing increasingly tired, the sky was becoming slightly lighter but many star were still spread across it, the thought of attempting to hid was no longer an option. More arrows were coming out of the darkness missing by inches, unfortunately his luck did not hold. As more arrows came one of them pierced his right shoulder, Praul fell in shock and pain, he turned and saw 2 goblins running out of the clearing, Praul took out 2 of his last seven arrows and sent the goblins a greeting card, smack in the middle of the head, his aim was still good even with his crippled arm, Praul moved on.
Just before he considered defeat something came out of a clearing ahead. It was camp. But not a goblin camp. It was a Rangers Guild! Praul dashed towards it, still amazed at his good fortune, however when he got there he immediately saw that all the Rangers were dead. Cut down by goblins not doubt, but it was still his best chance to hide, Praul quickly and quietly scrambled inside the nearest tent and hid. He tried to control his breathing, which was coming in sharp jabs. Outside he heard the stampede of goblins went by. It was safe. Praul began to exit the tent, when he heard the voices of more goblins, it was not safe. The loss of the prey has caused them to slit up and look around, naturally many of them were still around the camp. Praul took the time to look at his shoulder the arrow went in horizontally by the shape of the wound luckily it wasn’t in too deep but it was not yet safe to pull or push it out. Hiding was still his only option, he took a small glance outside the tent, and instantly saw 3 goblins searching the other tents, and one of them was coming to Praul’s tent. Praul frantically looked around and saw a small dagger lying beside some other materials. He snatched it and hid behind the entrance, and waited. When the goblin came in Praul quickly but quietly placed one hand on its mouth, with the other hand brought the dagger up and cut it’s throat. The lifeless body crumpled to the ground, Praul checked to make sure the other goblins hadn’t notice, they hadn’t. Praul moved the corps away from the door and looked again around the tent, for something useful. There was a small bed, a bow and some food, Praul took the food which was still good. Praul checked on the goblins, again making sure only one eye left the door, the goblins were still standing there blocking his exit, oblivious to their missing comrade. Praul looked at his five remaining arrows, he’d have to chance a fight, but he needed to do it swift and silence or risk his hiding, after the fight he would run, though he was still tired he had recovered most of his stamina. Praul noticed another tent across the way. Suddenly the second goblin left the first goblin and headed to the tent across from him, the first goblin was looking away, Praul bolted to the other tent, which now was between him and the first goblin, Praul crept to the other side until the goblin was in sight, and quietly drew an arrow.
“may the gods give me strength” he whispered, and with that let it go. “Thwang!!”
The goblin turned just in time to see the arrows as imbedded itself in his skull. Praul then rushed to the other tent and stabbed the second goblin repeatedly until he was deader than dead. Praul decided it was time to go. So he ran. Ran to Ravenswood.

The tale of Lucius Windwalker pt. II
Day 2 early morning:
Facing goblins on all side, Lucius had no choice but to fight with 6 goblin champions. The first came from behind, Lucius heard his footsteps, and he instinctively ducked as a blade sliced through thin air, turning the duck into a spin he tripped his foe to the ground, Lucius brought his staff in a sword position and gave a heavy blow, which the goblin parried from the ground, he then rolled back to the circle of goblins. Two more came at once one throwing an overhead blow, the other a side attack, Lucius parried the overhead easy and spun to block the other, the first hit him across the back when he was unprepared and gave his skin a large cut, in anger Lucius wheeled around to deliver a fatal neck blow. The goblin fell back and didn’t move. The second came from ahead and attacked, Lucius parried…once…twice…three times then gave the goblin a huge knock on the head, rendering him unconscious. Another goblin attacked instantly using a club and sword, gave an overhead and side attack, Lucius blocked both at the same time and pushed them aside as he gave the goblin a huge kick in the groin. The goblin reeled back in pain. The first goblin came back, Lucius didn’t even bother to block, he ducked low and used his enemy's own weight as he stuck his staff right in the goblins soft stomach, as the goblin stopped in pain, gasping for breath, Lucius spun around and gave a tremendous blow to his foes head, no doubt killing him on contact. There were 2 left. The sixth and fifth one came at once with angry goblin howls. “BANG” one went down, the other screamed in rage advancing in, Lucius dove behind him and hacked his leg, the goblin fell, his injured leg twitching, Lucius brought the butt end of his staff down on the head of the goblin, the screaming stopped but the leg continued to twitch. The other goblin he had knocked down was running away to the east, into the trees, while it was not smart to let him go, Lucius was in no state to give chase to a sole goblin. He nursed the cut on his back, as best as he could.
Lucius sat down in the small clearing and looked around, the grass was soft under his feet, and something deeply troubled him. This was dead centre in the control of the human lands, there should be no goblins here at all, even with his anxious mind, Lucius laid down to sleep.
The next morning he awoke to the lovely sound of birds singing and chirping, Lucius continued on his path to the border east of Ravenswood. It took him until the afternoon to get there, and he found everything working smoothly. This small community was not even worth giving a name, it comprised of a few houses, a small inn, called ‘The Last Resort’, a small blacksmith and a trading post, at first Lucius thought of seeing what could be bought at the trading post. The post was completely empty, save for clerk who had fallen asleep at the desk, awoke the moment Lucius entered the door.
“Do you have any food?” Lucius asked,
“Yea, over there” he said pointing aimlessly across the way, as Lucius went for the food he asked “do you have any potions out here”
“Nope” said the post vendor, “ ‘Sovereign hasn’t supplied us with much lately ‘cept food and wine.” Lucius grabbed a loaf of bread and two apples.
“izat all?” said the clerk stifling a yawn “yup, how much?” said Lucius, “it’d be about 4 gold please” Lucius handed him the gold and inquired “Is it really that boring out here?” he said, pointing out that the clerk was leaning with his head in his hands about ready to doze of again. The clerk didn’t answer but stared at Lucius hard and in an odd way, so Lucius left. He sat down on the porch outside the trading post, and began eating, since it had been a whole day since his last meal, Lucius was famished, as he sat there he noticed a strange figure walking out of the woods, it was like an overlarge man, upon closer inspection revealed it to be a Warrior of Discord, heading towards town and looking terrible, he was covered in many wounds which were pouring out blood, as the Warrior of Discord approached he noticed Lucius and said in a childish, but low grunting, voice “hehe, funny man” Lucius simply stared back, looking at the Warrior wondering who was funnier a man eating bread or a giant bleeding to death, and leaving huge pools of red liquid in his wake, appearing not to notice. He would have said something but it would probably take the warrior days to figure out what he said.
Lucius followed the warrior with his eyes until he entered ‘The Last Resort’. Though Lucius and his god, Lunord had no quarrel with Fervus, or it’s cultist, Lucius always felt slightly against the creation of Warriors of Discord, he felt it was wrong for the Sovereign to train deadly heroes with the strength of a dragon, and a brain the size of a pea.
But there was nothing he could do about it… so, he got up and began his perimeter patrol.

The Tale of Borador the Omniscient pt. II
Day 2
Borador had not fallen far when he was able to snatch a small tree growing on the cliff face. Borador looked up, the goblin was still there peering over the side of the cliff to see if the wizard was dead, when he saw that he wasn’t, he sent down a rain of arrows, most of which missed horribly. Carefully taking one hand off of the tree, Borador sent a large bolt of energy at the hideous creature, it missed, so he sent another. It collided with the goblin right in the face. The Goblin howl in pain, as his flesh melted on the bone, the goblin, with his hands over his face fell off the cliff. Borador followed him with his eyes. The cliff, while not entirely tall, would definitely kill him should he fall, Borador resolved to try and climb the cliff, as he was not that far from the top and he had no idea what the bottom was like. Once Borador reached the top, he collapsed in exhaustion, even for a wizard Borador was not in good physical condition having spent most of his life sitting down reading, the combination of the fall, grabbing the tree, the magic and climbing the cliff was just about enough to kill him, he fell asleep then and there

Borador awoke slightly startled, he expected to see goblins, but the was nothing, he could tell immediately that he could not have been asleep for more than an hour, two at the most, he was still aching, and it was now very dark out, in the very middle of the night. He tried to recall from yesterday what had made him so alarmed, it did not take long, as he looked out west, to the shore he still saw thousands of small fires, like looking into the stars. Borador got up slowly, and hobbled as fast as he could back to East Cheswick.

The Battle of Cheswick
Day 2
It was roughly 4 am when Borador made it back to East Cheswick, he headed straight for the Palace to visit the Lord of the city.
“Goblins, Thousands of them along the western shoreline!” Borador was explaining a few moments later to Brandir, Lord of East Cheswick for the past 4 years.
“How soon could they muster an attack?” said Brandir.
“They are already prepared to assault but it will take them less than a day to get here”
“Your bravery has been greatly appreciated” Brandir said looking unblinkingly into Borador’s eyes, them Brandir started pacing back and forth talking mostly to himself. “I will issue code 12E to the guards and soldiers and call as many nearby heroes as I can to repel the pestilence of these fouls beast, and I will send rangers to Ravenswood carrying code 666A with them. In the meantime” he said looking at Borador again “Get some sleep, you look awful”
“What should we do if we cannot win?” asked Borador
“What would you do?”
“I would flee to the momentary safety of Ravenswood, and make our last Stand there!” said Borador defiantly, as without an-other word he left the palace, and headed towards the guild for a long awaited sleep.

The next morning Borador woke feeling refreshed and energised. As usual, his first act of business was to get to the top tower and view the surroundings, a ritual he’d done ever since the fall of the human empire. At a glance he could tell something was wrong, there was a large amount of smoke rising to the south in the city, with the long range vision this tower grants he could tell that the city was under siege by a plague of goblins, at least 5 thousand goblins! Immediately Borador teleported himself into the city.
It was utter chaos, goblins were coming in massive waves sweeping thought the south- eastern part of the city which was now a smouldering ruin, the rangers and archers were supporting the warriors and soldiers with long-range fire cover but they were only putting of the inevitable. The soldiers and other close range fighters were dying every second, admittedly the men were killing more goblins than goblins killing men but even so, they were hopelessly outnumbered! Borador found Xxaxx, the Master of Magiks, his trusted and wise master, among the archers on top of the outer palace wall, watching the battle below with a pained and strained ex-pression.
“Master what should we do?” cried Borador when he had caught up to him.
“I don’t know” he said slowly and clearly in his old feeble voice.
“WHAT!” yelled Borador, he had always seen his master as a wise, omniscient man who always had an answer, his lack of in-formation was frightening.
“What can we do against 5,000 goblins? We only have 500 soldiers stationed here.
“Well I am going to fight!” and Borador turned left to the battle below, and when he got down to ground level it seemed they had half the soldiers they started with, only 40 or so men could be seem in the mass of green and black. The goblins were now quickly surrounding the castle. Borador lined himself up with the archers and proceeded to send blast after blast after blast at any thing that moved.
The battled continued for another hour, the goblins, while taking massive casualties, was slowly chipping away at their de-fenders, determined to take their land, their homes and their lives.
In huge frustration, Borador’s anger grew out of control, he was now sending multiple blast, 5 every second until it all coalesced in a huge fireball that he sent ripping through the pack of goblins! Amazed yet still going mad he sent another and another, not really caring where they were going until he sent one right at one of the last warriors standing, fortunately he saw it coming and ducked, just as it seared through a pack of 6 goblins. Borador would have said sorry, but there was no time. Getting to his feet he the warrior ran at Borador.
“We can’t hold them! We need to retreat!” the warrior said
“Then retreat to the palace, I can hold them a little longer!” cried Borador as he cast another blast of fire at the goblins
“The palace is overrun!!!” he yelled, and then Borador stopped and looked around, it was indeed true; the goblins were climbing the walls with ladders, infesting the glorious castle with their pandemic. The outer walls were being swept clean of human life, Xxaxx was to be seen attempting to stop them with his wide range of spell casting ability, but to no avail. The goblins were sweep across the city life like a foul curse, the humans were in a constant state of withdrawal. Every second they lost another valiant soul, and Borador came to his conclusion.
“RETREAT!!! FLEE!! REATREAT TO RAVENSWOOD!” Borador screamed as loud as he could so that every man, woman and child in East Cheswick could hear him.

The Tale of Sir Bren of Kranal’s Creek
Day 2 midnight
Bren worked his way back to East Cheswick, as fast as he could bulked under his plate armour, completely unfatigued after the battle with the goblins. Many stars could be seen floating high above his head, Bren walked on, no sound could be heard except the clinking of his armour. For two hours he continued strutting west until he saw his shadow walking in front of him before the forest of Cheswick, he turn his head east and saw the sun burning his eyes, Bren entered the forest of Cheswick and soon found himself facing the entrance to his home, the Warriors Guild, a stout and proud structure built on the southern edge of East Cheswick,
It was more or less just a block of stone chiselled by carpenters and peasants, Bren entered, he immediately saw Sir Duric, first knight of the guild, he was at the table sharpening his sword, when Bren came in he looked up “Good day Bren, now all four of us be here” he said shortly, then returned his attention to his sword, “So Aragonder and Bhyll are here?” asked Bren looking around the main hall, which took up the whole first floor.
“Indeed” said Duric checking the sharpness of his swords. “where do you come by?” asked Duric still checking his sword
“Goblin trouble out east” replied Bren
“How many did you get” asked Sir Duric in a slightly eager voice.
“six” said Bren proudly
“Well… I am going to retire” said Duric getting up and stretching
“ but it is just morning!” said Bren
“And I have not slept well” replied Duric

Bren proceeded up the stairs to the roof where he hoped to find the others. Aragondor the third knight was practising with the dummies on the roof. Aragondor was a brave member of the guild but also somewhat foolhardy, once known to attempt attacking a rock golem that was heading for town, fortunately his comrades stopped him, the golem was destroyed by many heroes, and killed two before its fall. Then there was Bhyll, the new guy, Bhyll had very little experience in terms of real combat, and he had mostly earned his skills at fairgrounds when the monthly melee competition was held. Bhyll was looking out east from the side of the top roof above Aragondor, Bren went to meet him.
“What are you looking at” he said once he reached the top
“Smoke” he said slowly, Bhyll was without question the smartest warrior amongst them, but seeing as how they were all kind of slow, that wasn’t a huge accomplishment.
“No, that was me, I took on 6 goblins single handed” said Bren pulling his sword and fight an imaginary person.
“But it is close” said Bhyll, even more slowly. Bren turned and saw he was right, the fire he had set yesturday should be seen on the very horizon, if it was seen at all. This smoke was less than half that distance.
It’s a FIRE!!!” shouted Bren “look!!” he pointed at the base of the edge of the forest, and sure enough the flickering red light was clearly visible
“Should we call help?” said Aragondor who had just joined the conversation. Bren said nothing. He was to transfixed by the fire.
“It’s moving…” Bren said slowly “…very fast… this way…?” and suddenly he saw… he understood…he yelled
“GOBLINS!!!… THOUSANDS OF GOBLINS”
“Order the Call to Arms” Bhyll shouted at Aragondor, then he turned north where the rest of the city was, many civilians walked the streets quietly, Bhyll hollered as loud as he could.
“GET THE WOMAN AND CHILDREN TO SAFETY!!!!!! PREPARE TO DEFEND THE CITY!!!!” The city suddenly split in two; citizens abruptly panicked and began to run away north. The men and soldiers began heading south-east, preparing to fight.
Bren leaped down the flight of stairs with Bhyll, they reached the main hall and saw Duric’s sharpening stone lying abanoned. They headed for the door, and left the hall, Bren started heading for the city and approached the line of soldiers, archers and heroes, and saw Duric and Aragondor in line with the other soldiers and guards.
“How many did you see?” asked Duric as they approached
“About 3,000 ,sir Duric, probably more, we didn’t see them well enough through the trees.” Bren got in line with the rest of his fellow guild members. Then the goblins came, lining up parallel with the soldiers in front of the palace. For a few second they simply stared at each other, then they charged yelling only in the way goblins can.
“May Krypta have mercy on our souls” muttered Bren
Just before the first wave of goblins hit all the men on the front line ducked as a hundred arrows soared from both the palace and the ground, then the soldiers charged!
Bren took the first goblin easy with a quick parry and a well placed hit to the side, a second goblin came, Bren stuck to his strategy of parry and hit, a third, a fourth, fifth, more and more and more
The sound of battle was enormous, as the bows sang, Twang!! Twang! Woosh! Swoosh! Zipp! THUD!! THUD!! They were complimented with the banging of swords and armour Clang! Clang! Whack! Clang! Thud! Clang! Clang! Clang! Whack!
The battled continued for another two hours, the goblins, while taking massive casualties, was slowly chipping away at their defenders, determined to take their land, their homes and their lives.
Suddenly some wizards appeared for backup from the northern guild, and started supporting what few warriors and soldiers remained with magical spells, which greatly helped, Bren took a small breather to look around. Bhyll and Duric could not be seen, however he saw Aragondor struggling against four goblins at a time, by the way he moved he was clearly injured but not ready to give up, he also noticed that many goblins had reached the palace and were pushing ladders against the walls. The goblin rush seemed to go on forever, there must be a total of 1,000 goblins on the ground dead, and 4,000 alive and fighting hard, they could surely not repel this foul onslaught.
Bren paid for his lack of a few seconds focus heavily; three goblins broke from the crowd, Bren caught himself in time, he managed to block the first two, but the third gave him a viscous scar on his left side, fortunately his armour took the worst of it but he was still bleeding, more goblins were coming, and as they did 5 of them were melted by a large fire sent from behind, Bren turned searching for the caster, but as he turned around he was blinded by light as another large ball of fire came right at him, Bren was quick enough to duck in time and heard the agonised cries as it impacted against more goblins. Bren got quickly to his feet and rushed to the wizard
“We can’t hold them! We need to retreat!” said Bren
“Then retreat to the palace, I can hold them a little longer!” cried the wizard as he cast another blast of fire at the goblins
“The palace is overrun!!!” yelled Bren, and then the wizard stopped and looked around, it was indeed true; the goblins were climbing the walls with ladders, infesting the glorious castle with their pandemic. As the wizard stopped more goblins came Bren held them off as the wizard made his choice. The outer walls of the palace were being swept clean of human life, a valiant wizard was to be seen attempting to stop them with a wide range of spell casting ability, but to no avail. The goblins were sweeping across the city life like a foul curse, the humans were in a constant state of withdrawal. Every second they lost another valiant soul, and the wizard beside Bren came to his conclusion.
“RETREAT!!! FLEE!! REATREAT TO RAVENSWOOD!” screamed the wizard as loud as he could so that every man, woman and child in East Cheswick could hear him. And Flee they did

‘The Advancing Hordes’

The Tale of Lucius Windwalker part III
Day 4
1:23 pm
This was odd, Lucius thought to himself, Two days and not sight nor sound of any goblins. Normally out here on the borders of human existence there were usually at least several bands roaming the edge of their domain, but nothing. As Lucius pondered this he reached the river that separates the Central Plains from the Western Forest. First goblins appear in the middle of human lands then none of them patrol the borders of their own lands… something unusual was happening that’s for sure, but what is the answer. Lucius thought the most he could do now was continue his patrol. He looked out east, the edge of the small city could be seen on the horizon. It was high noon, and Lucius was getting slightly hungry, he checked his small pack and found and apple, ripe enough for eating. As he sat by the river and ate his apple he no-ticed heavy rain clouds moving out from the eastern sky, and slowly crawling this way. Lucius finished eating and set out for the town.
Of the many small buildings out here, one of them was a guardhouse. Considered the castle of the city, it was small but served the purpose of housing the lord of the land, Richard, also useful as a place for the locals to protest and complain, leave letters of importance and unimportance, and as a sentry tower, from atop one could see far to any horizon. This was where Lucius was heading, at the top of the tower he met a guard by the name of Kanad. As Lucius stood atop the tower looking from north to south, from east to west, it began to rain, Lucius did not care. He stood there until the sun began to fade across the western sky, and a truly beautiful sunset lit the clouds that were squeezing out their last drops of water. It was then that they came. The Goblins. At least a thousand of them swarming out of the east towards the outpost. Lucius saw them first and quickly alerted the lord in the guardhouse.
“I will send a messenger to Ravenswood, Right now!” said the lord, Richard “I will then proceed to rally the guards to defend the city”
“Don’t you dare!” shouted Lucius “there is more than a thousand of them, defending this unworthy outpost should be your last option! I suggest you make the greatest haste towards Ravenswood, and allow to carry your message to the throne of that castle, I can make the journey in less than an hour!”
“Very well, we shall flee like chickens” said Richard quietly and with that he left the guardhouse.
As Lucius emerged from the guardhouse there was a sudden sense of panic, what few villagers lived here were running hard carrying all that they could, fleeing the goblin hordes, and Lucius was among them running with the speed Lunord had given him.

It was less than two hours later that Lucius strolled into the high court of his majesty, the king, in the glorious palace of the mighty city of Ravenswood, one of the few human settlements as far as any eye can see. It was there that Lucius learned a horrifying fact.

The Tale of Konflictus the Detached Pt. II
As Konflictus strolled into the small town he noticed a nice looking inn, his stomach felt queasy, the only concept his feeble brain understood that, as hunger. As he entered ‘The Last Resort’ and ordered a beer and a platter of goat’s cheese and began to stuff his face with the manners of a foul beast, he continued to eat, and eat, and eat, and eat. Konflictus was never short on change since whenever he found some he never knew what to do with it, he sat there eating as happily as warriors could, when a man burst through the door, his face was intensely panic stricken.
“Goblins!!!” he yelled to the few in the bar, Konflictus took no notice of him “They are coming this way!! Lord Richard has ordered all civilians and soldiers to flee the city at once, we make for the castle of Ravenswood!!!” and with that he left. No more than a second later, the whole inn erupted in panic, there may have only been a few people in there at the time but they made one hell of a noise, the sound of chairs scraping, and feet scourying made Konflictus angry.
“Quiet!!!” he bellowed but nobody paid him any attention as they made for the exit “Trying to eat!” he said a bit more quietly
Now it was just him and the food in the lonely inn. He sat there by himself, eating happily, until his plate ran dry, he looked around for the bartender “Where nice man go” he thought. The inn was now surprisingly dark, the sudden whoosh of people blew out the candles, and the sky through the windows was all but black.
As Konflictus headed for the door it swung open, the outside light blinded him slightly, and he groaned like a four year old, has the light pierced through his eyelids, when he suddenly started to see, he noticed 3 little humanoid shapes, coated black against bleached outside. Then they drew swords, as Konflictus reconised then as vicious little goblins, completely focused now he pulled his Scythe from the counter where it had been resting, and charged at them as they charged at him! They all hit at the same time, two of the goblins went high the other went low, the impact shoved Konflictus a few inches back, and he dropped his weapon, but he maintained his balanced a threw one of the goblin hard against the wall, it fell to the floor in a heap, stirring slightly, Konflictus was having great trouble catching one of the goblins that had crawled on his back and was proceeding knife him, however the goblin had barely achieved two stabs in, when Konflictus managed to snare him by the throat, Konflictus squeezed hard and heard the goblin squeal, Konflictus then brought the goblin around, still holding it by the throat, and drove him into the first goblin who was hanging to Konflictus’ legs trying to take them off. After the hussle Konflictus picked up his blade again and dealt the final blow to the 3 unconscious goblins.
Konflictus felt it was time to leave, so he made for the door, again. Once outside, he immediately noticed two things. One, that he appeared to have some odd red stuff on his hands, and two, there were millions of goblins watching him from the east. Konflictus turned facing them and made a very simple calculation in his very simple brain.
1,000,000 goblins vs. 1 man with a knife.
Chance for survival……um……..uh…….somewhere around…….IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Konflictus fled, as quickly as he could to the only place that seemed to stay in his memory. Ravenswood.

End of Part II
