Is there some kind of patch, or mod, that increases the odds that your wizards will actually make use of this? Every now and then I see a wizard train either of these (magic resist seems to occur less), and I believe that it should be made more use of. I've played Majesty and the expac since they both came out, but I've never heard of any kind of game modifications or things like that, any information would be appreciated Smile

In my on going leave it over night game I saw my highest level WoD make use of the train magic resistance feature in the library. It could have been a glitch though. Very Happy

Well....that would be considered as extremely rare and unlikely, but pretty cool...usually I only see the Monks and Priestesses make use of the spells and train magic resist, so logically it's a high intelligence check. This makes me wonder why more wizards (especially high level ones) don't make more use of it...

Just for the record, I've had a ranger who's utilized the library before. Rangers get every little service they can get their hands on...

Ah yes,
In the lands of Ardania just like in the lands of America, only a small percentage of the population actually uses the public library system.
Even wizards (the nerds of Ardania) will primarly use the library to learn new spells (90%), and this ranks behind "Pursue entertainment check" in the decission tree.
Tip: Place the entrance to the library right next to the guild exit and remove distracting buildings like gambling halls, elven lounges, inns and fairgrounds (or place them far away).

Actually, I do recall having an Elf visit the library while playing "The Bell, the Book, and the Candle." Usually they just waste their time performing as bards.

Get an elf and then demolish your inn. Use spells to destroy the elven lounge.

Rogues/WoDs can demolish structures if you put a bounty on the building and avoid loyalty structures. Lightning bolt is useful mainly for delivering fiishing blows to those ever so annoying gnome hovels.

By the way, I just played "Slay the Mighty Dragon" and I had a Solarus use Power Shock against some creature.
